I have been offering NAATI-certified translations between English and German since 2009. Apart from my freelance translation work, I have a full-time job as a process engineer in the water industry. I was born in Vienna and have settled in Australia nearly 20 years ago. Other cultures, languages and countries have always interested me. Volunteer work in the past with Doctors without Borders has led me to Central Asia, Africa and South East Asia. My own travels have led me to many places in Europe and to North America. When time permits these days, I volunteer for Translators without Borders, mostly as reviser and help at my children’s scout group. My hobbies include unicycling, bushwalking and running. I am a member of the Australian Institute of translators and Interpreters (AUSIT), of Professionals Australia and of Engineers Australia.
